We recommend the tour for everyone who would like to get a glimpse into the most important cultural and historical chapters of Hungarian Jews within 2 hours introduced to you by an English-speaking guide!
The first point on the tour is the Jewish Museum, where a local guide takes you through the unique collection of sacred and everyday objects of the Jewish religion. Then take a look at the interior of the Neolog Dohány Street Synagogue, the largest synagogue in Europe. After that, the tour takes you past the Martyrs’ Cemetery, where several thousand people were buried after the Second World War. The final station in the synagogue is the Raoul Wallenberg Park and Tree of Life, a memorial to all of the Hungarian Jews who lost their lives during the Second World War, with the Heroes’ Temple.
